Ten Commandments for Doctors
  1. Human beings are vulnerable. The sick people are hundred times more sensitive!
  2. Do not whisper, joke or be mysterious in the presence of patient. Show serious interest, understanding, and helpfulness. The doctor should radiate optimism, but should not be jolly and kidding!
  3. There is not greater impoliteness than to take advantage from the difficult situation of the patient!
  4. Do not look at your watch when you consult a patient!
  5. Before you reject somebody, remember that you might be in similar trouble!
  6. The patient is right as he/she is in a miserable situation!
  7. The doctor may have own problems but the patient should not feel it!
  8. The pureness of our thoughts is also part of our good appearances!
  9. If you would like to cry at the patient’s bed, then be your voice firmer, calmer and more convincing!
  10. You are accountable to your conscience in every hour!
